Cotoneaster horizontalis in a 9cm pot - A garden ready plant (ready for planting straight into the garden.

The Cotoneaster horizontalis produces neat pink flowers in the early summer months.  Abundent bright red berries mature in the autumn, attracting birds into the garden during the autumn months and into the start of winter.  Cotoneaster horizontalis plants do well in full sun and semi shade sites and in moist but well-drained soil, but will tolerate drought once established.

A great ground cover shrub with the added bonus of being evergreen, providing colour throughout the year.

How to care for your plant:

This plant is easy to maintain and look after. When you receive your new plant, soak in a bucket of water for 30 minutes and then plant to the same depth as the soil level in the pot. Water regularly until established.  We recommend adding fertilizer when planting, ideal are bone meal or Fish Blood & Bone.  After flowering cut out all dead, diseased and unwanted growth and trim to desired shape and size.
